IT之家 6 月 5 日消息，微软正积极推进使用 Rust 语言改造 Windows 11 系统，上周其 GitHub 仓库 windows-rs 合并 Windows Reactor 相关 PR， 后者为 WinUI 构建面向 Rust 开发人员的 UI 库。

Microsoft and Linux are adding AI and Rust to their pipelines. Microsoft is leaning much harder into AI development than Linux. Both are expanding Rust, but neither OS will be fully Rust soon.

At the Build 2026 developer conference, Microsoft encouraged developers to build more native apps for Windows 11.
