英伟达正式发布RTX Remix 1.5版本更新，引入RTX IO压缩技术，使《半条命2：光追版》（Half-Life 2 RTX）的游戏安装体积从80GB压缩至50GB，降幅达37.5%。这一改进显著降低了玩家的存储压力，同时提升了纹理流传输效率。

得益于该技术，《Portal with RTX》安装包从 25GB 压缩至 17GB，《Half-Life 2 RTX》从 80GB 压缩至 50GB，同时降低 CPU 负载、提升纹理流传输效率。 除压缩外，RTX Remix 1.5 还带来 Smooth Normals 功能，自动为捕获的旧版几何体生成平滑法线，让旧版模型在路径追踪光照下不再呈现块状或棱角感。
